A Personal Prayer -1994

Dear Lord,

Thank You.

Thank You for the opportunity of knowing who I really am and where I am at this point .

Though it really hurts to know this painful truth, I'll make no excuses for my idolatry, foolishness burdens,failures , hurts, grief, and loneliness.

This is ME ..my real self .

Thank you for your embrace, acceptance and most of all for Your love and grace.

Give me the courage and strength to re-engage with new resources in this journey.

Thank you for sustaining me.

I open myself to you. You know better that I know myself.

Perfectionism is not the answer to my despair.

Help me to stop looking at myself as a failure, a victim or a wrongdoer.

YOU LOVE ME AS I AM.
